File Transfer The PeriView tool is used to copy files across the Avaya MPS

network. File Transfer allows you to copy a single file, a group of

files, or a subdirectory tree structure to one or more destinations. For

fixed referral A dual-line referral method available on a digital Avaya MPS.

This scheme assigns a single referral line to a single caller line,

creating a one-to-one mapping. The advantages of this setup are that

it is simple and the caller line will always have a referral line

available. The disadvantage is that you need a dedicated referral line

for each caller line. By default, digital systems are set to use fixed

referral.

Contrast with dynamic referral.

folder The paradigm PeriProducer uses for organizing data. PeriProducer

uses a filing cabinet analogy for variable data; data cards are grouped

in folders. Each folder may contain lower-level folders and/or data

cards.
