TN3270 Telnet 3270 is an Avaya MPS-supported host communication
protocol.
Avaya Telnet 3270 software (TN3270 client) emulator for the MPS
allows interaction with IBM hosts (including UNIX system
computers) and a variety of TN3270 servers. The MPS TN3270
process contains the 3270 terminal emulator for the virtual terminals
(VTs). For each VT, the MPS TN3270 process will provide a Telnet
process that establishes a Telnet connection with the IBM host
system.
Also known as Telnet 3270.
See also host, Teln et, VT, process.
