Specifying a Data Transfer Value
The BCC does not support this parameter.
You can determine how the Internet transport layer handles datagrams on a data
transfer connection by specifying a value that indicates the Type of Service that
FTP inserts in IP datagrams on a data transfer connection.
You can use Site Manager to specify the type of service value that FTP inserts in
IP datagrams on a data transfer connection
.
Specifying the TCP Window Size
You can determine the size of the window you require on your system for TCP
connections by specifying its size in bytes.
Using the BCC
By default, the size of TCP windows used for connections is 60,000 bytes. To
specify a TCP window size, navigate to the FTP prompt and enter:
tcp-window-size
integer
integer
is the size in bytes of the TCP window.
Site Manager Procedure

1. In the Configuration Manager window,
select Protocols.
The Protocols menu opens.
2. Choose Global Protocols. The Global Protocols menu opens.
3. Choose FTP. The FTP menu opens.
4. Choose Global. The Edit FTP Global Parameters window
opens.
5. Set the Data Transfer parameter. Click on
Help or see the parameter description on
page A-6.
6. Click on OK. Site Manager saves your changes and
exits the window.
