Configuring a Static NetBIOS Name and Address
You can add static NetBIOS names to the router. These entries are independent of
the name entries learned dynamically in the name cache.
Enabling and Disabling Static Name Caching
By default, NetBIOS caches the names you have added statically. You can use Site
Manager to disable this feature.
Site Manager Procedure
You do this System responds
1. In the Configuration Manager window,
choose Protocols.
The Protocols menu opens.
2. Choose IP. The IP menu opens.
3. Choose NetBIOS. The NetBIOS menu opens.
4. Choose Static Name. The NetBIOS/IP Static Entry Table
window opens.
5. Click on the static entry you want. The parameter values for that entry
appear in the window.
6. Set the Enable parameter. Click on Help

7. Click on Apply, and then click on Done. Site Manager returns you to the
Configuration Manager window.
