NetBIOS/IP Interface Table Parameters
Parameter: Rebroadcast Packet TTL
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > NetBIOS > Global
Default: 5
Options: 1 to 255 seconds
Function: Specifies the time-to-live value (in seconds) to use in rebroadcast packets.
Instructions: Use this parameter to restrict the number of routers a rebroadcast packet can
traverse. To prevent NetBIOS broadcast packets from traversing the network
indefinitely, set the parameter to a minimal value.

Parameter: Rebroadcast Record Route
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > NetBIOS > Global
Default: Disable
Options: Enable
| Disable
Function: Enables and disables the Insertion of Record Route option in rebroadcast
packets.
Instructions: If all IP entities support this option, select Enable to allow the NetBIOS entity
in the router to determine whether it has received this packet before on this
interface. If so, the router drops it. This option prevents rebroadcast packets
from looping forever.

Default: Enable
Options: Enable

Function: Enables or disables NetBIOS on this IP interface.
Instructions: If NetBIOS has been configured and enabled on the router, use this
parameter to disable and reenable it on this interface as required.
