Enabling Name Caching on the Interface
By default, NetBIOS name caching is enabled on the interface.
You can use Site Manager to disable this interface from caching the name of each
NetBIOS server active in the network.
Choose Disable if you want to release system memory and processing resources
otherwise dedicated to server name caching.
6. Set the Enable/Disable parameter. Click
on Help or see the parameter description
on page A-25.
7. Click on Apply, and then click on Done. Site Manager returns you to the
Configuration Manager window.
Site Manager Procedure

1. In the Configuration Manager window,
choose Protocols.
The Protocols menu opens.
2. Choose IP. The IP menu opens.
3. Choose NetBIOS. The NetBIOS menu opens.
4. Choose Interface. The NetBIOS/IP Interface Table window
opens.
5. Click on the IP interface you want. The parameter values for that interface
appear in the window.
6. Set the NetBIOS Name Caching
parameter as desired. Click on Help or
see the parameter description on page
A-26.
7. Click on Apply, and then click on Done. Site Manager returns you to the
Configuration Manager window.
