Using Site Manager
Complete the tasks in the following table to specify whether to pause Telnet
console output

Changing the Telnet Login Prompt
You can change the Telnet login prompt on the Telnet console screen by
specifying a character string from 1 through 18 alphanumeric characters.
Using the BCC
To change the Telnet login prompt on the Telnet console screen, navigate to the
server-specific prompt and enter:
prompt
string
string
is an alphanumeric character, ranging from 1 to 18.
For example, the following command line changes the Telnet login prompt to rtr1.
server# prompt rtr1
server#
Site Manager Procedure
You do this System responds
1. In the Configuration Manager window,
choose Protocols.
The Protocols menu opens.
2. Choose Global Protocols. The Global Protocols menu opens.
3. Choose Telnet Server. The Telnet Server menu opens.
4. Choose Global. The Telnet Server Global Parameters
window opens.
5. Set the TI More parameter. Click on Help
or see the parameter description on
page A-11.
6. Click on OK. Site Manager saves your changes and
exits the window.
