Parameter: Slot Lower Bound
Attribute Name: wfSyslogEntFltrSlotLowBnd

Range: 0 to 14
Function: Along with the Slot Upper Bound, this parameter/attribute specifies a slot
number or range of slot numbers. Syslog forwards to the remote host
associated with this filter messages logged only on the slot(s) you
specified. (Consider the location of each router in an ASN chassis as a
numbered slot.)
Instructions: To specify a range of slots, set the value of this parameter/attribute to the
low number of the range. Also set the value of
wfSyslogEntFltrSlotUppBnd (Slot Upper Bound) to the higher number of
the range.
Any range you specify includes the values for the lower and upper bound
parameters/attributes. For example, if you specify a lower bound of 1 and
an upper bound of 4, Syslog forwards all event messages logged on Slots
1 through 4 (inclusive). Syslog ignores all other event messages.
To filter events for a specific slot, set the value of
wfSyslogEntFltrSlotLowBnd to the desired slot number. Set the value of
wfSyslogEntFltrSlotUppBnd to the same number. For example, to
forward only event messages logged on Slot 2, enter 2 as the value of
wfSyslogEntFltrSlotLowBnd and as the value of
wfSyslogEntFltrSlotUppBnd.
If you do not want to filter messages by slot number(s), accept the lower
and upper bound default values of 0.
