Parameter: Enable Default Route for Subnets
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > Global
Default: Disable
Options: Enable

Function: Specifies whether the IP router uses a default route for unknown subnets. The
default route must be present in the routing table. When you set this parameter
to Enable, the IP router uses a default route. When you set this parameter to
Disable, the IP router drops packets addressed to an unknown subnet and
returns an ICMP message to the sender.
Instructions: Accept the default, Disable, if you do not want the IP router to use a default
route for unknown subnets. Otherwise, reset this parameter to Enable.

Parameter: Maximum Policy Rules
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > Global
Default: 32
Options: Any integer
Function: Specifies the maximum number of policies that can be configured per policy
type (accept or announce) per protocol.
Instructions: To configure more than 32 accept or announce policy rules for a protocol, you
must set this parameter to a larger value that is a multiple of 32.

Function: Specifies whether or not IP supports route filters.
Instructions: If you require support for route filters, select Enable. Otherwise, accept the
default.
