Circuit Naming Conventions for ARN
The name consists of a letter indicating the circuit type, followed by two numbers
that identify the slot number and the connector number. The first number is the
slot ID of the module in the ARN, which Site Manager refers to as the slot. The
second number is the connector. For example, the circuit name E11 identifies an
Ethernet circuit on port 1 of the base module. Table 3-3
lists the letters in the
circuit names for ARN adapter modules. Table 3-4
lists the letters in the circuit
names for ARN expansion modules.
