Adding Version 10.0 Features

To add Version 10.0 features to the conﬁghd ﬁle:

1. Open the conﬁghd ﬁle.

2. Manually conﬁgure Version 10.0 features that the convert.exe utility does

not support.

Add the new conﬁguration features you want.

3. Save your changes to the conﬁghd ﬁle.

Adding Trafﬁc Filters

Before adding any Version 10.0 trafﬁc ﬁlters to the conﬁghd ﬁle, read Appendix A

to review the differences between the Version 5 and Version 10.0 ﬁltering

implementations and strategies. For details on using Site Manager to conﬁgure

ﬁlters, refer to Conﬁguring Trafﬁc Filters and Protocol Prioritization.

To add trafﬁc ﬁlters:

1. Open the conﬁghd ﬁle.

2. Add any Version 10.0 trafﬁc ﬁlters you want in the conﬁghd ﬁle using the

Conﬁguration Manager.

3. Save your additions to the ﬁle.
