Configuring Backup Circuits

Parameter: Hangup on DLCMI Failure
Default: Disable
Options: Enable
| Disable
Function: Indicates whether to terminate the backup connection if the Frame Relay
switch does not initially respond to the call with a full status message.
Instructions: Select Enable if you want the router to clear the backup circuit when the
switch does not respond. Otherwise, accept the default.

Editing the Service Record Configuration
After configuring the interface parameters, you can configure the service records.
The service records contain the PVCs.
To configure the service record
1. Click on Services.

9-10).
