User-Deﬁned IPX Criteria

In addition to the predeﬁned ﬁlter criteria, you can create trafﬁc ﬁlters with

criteria you deﬁne by specifying an offset and length to the start of the IPX header

(IPX_BASE) as a reference ﬁeld for a user-deﬁned criterion.

IPX Actions

The IPX ﬁltering actions are Accept, Drop, and Log.

XNS Criteria and Actions

You can conﬁgure XNS inbound trafﬁc ﬁlters based on speciﬁed bit patterns

contained within the XNS header.

Predeﬁned XNS Criteria

Table 3-2 lists the predeﬁned ﬁltering ﬁelds for XNS ﬁlters and the reference ﬁeld,

offset, and length value for each criterion.
