5. On the Search Detail pane, you can review the following information

• Full name and status (if available)

• Extension number

• Home number

• Work number

• Mobile number

• Other1 number

• Other2 number

•Groups

Working with Groups

You can create a group and add similar buddies to the group. For example, you can create a group for the

Sales department, a group for Finance, and a group for personal friends.

When you need to locate someone, you can look in the appropriate group folder. After you locate the

contact, you can place a direct call. Alternatively, you can call the entire group.

Before you begin using the Avaya 3100 MC - Client, create your personalized groups and add buddies.

You can add a buddy to more than one group.

Adding a new group

1. Navigate to the Buddy list.

2. Select Menu, Add New Group.

3. Enter the name of the new group.

4. Select Menu, Save New Group.

Your group is added to the local address book. It does not have any buddy entries.
