Starting and exiting the Avaya 3100 MC - Client
for BlackBerry application
This section describes how to start and exit the Avaya 3100 MC - Client for BlackBerry application.
Starting the Avaya 3100 MC - Client for
BlackBerry application
The first time you start the application, enter your configuration settings at the prompt.
Starting the application and signing in
1. From the main menu of your BlackBerry, select Avaya 3100 MC - Client for BlackBerry.
The splash screen appears.

The first time you start the Avaya 3100 MC - Client for BlackBerry, a warning appears stating that the
application has requested an HTTP connection.
2. Select Allow this connection for All HTTP connections.
Note: If you accidentally select Deny this connection, any further connections are refused. To solve
this, select Options, Firewall, Reset Settings.
3. If prompted, enter your configuration settings. For more information about configuration settings, see
“Initial configuration” on page 23.
