Editing XNS Parameters

The sections that follow show you how to add, edit, and delete XNS static routes

in a Bay Networks router conﬁguration. You perform these functions from the

XNS Static Routes window. Begin at the Conﬁguration Manager window

igure 4-1) and select Protocols > XNS > Static Routes. The XNS Static Routes

Caution: To establish a Data Link layer connection in a Frame Relay or

SMDS network, which allows the router to send packets over a static route,

you must conﬁgure an adjacent host and edit the DLCI parameter in the XNS

Adjacent Hosts window.
