This chapter describes how to install one of the approved data modules and

how to install a BCMS Vu hardware key.

The sections of the chapter are as follows:

• Installing a 7400B/7400B Plus Data Module

• Installing an 8400B Plus Data Module

• Installing a BCMS Vu hardware key

• Installing a telephone line for remote maintenance.

Note

The data module does not apply to DEFINITY ONE systems.

For DEFINITY ONE systems, skip to “Installing the

Hardware Key.”

Note

The data module is installed between the Server PC and the

DEFINITY system.
